Inviting, Transitional, Spacious-Living. The clients desired a fresh, new open space as their existing kitchen and living room was dated, extremely compartmentalized, had very little counter space and storage. We suggested taking the wall down between the kitchen and formal dining room to improve the flow of the space and to increase the usability. We installed engineered hardwood floors throughout the first level, designed custom cabinets with pull out drawers specifically for entertaining and selected the complimentary Cambria countertops to create a clean, fresh and open feeling. We also designed an inviting space for socializing- a wine bar, mini fridge and cabinets with Baroque glass. Special attention was also given when selecting the mantel piece, made from Monkey pod, to compliment the sleek stacked White oak tile surrounding the newly installed fireplace. This freshly painted interior boasts modern but comfortable, using the combination of a neutral “greige" palette with touches of warmth and metal.
